EVALUATION OF STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP) IN BANYU SABRANG BATIK LENDAH KULONPROGO TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE

Banyu Sabrang Batik is one of the MSMEs in Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta, which is active in the batik industry. This MSME has a vision to preserve the batik tradition and as an effort to improve the welfare of the community because the majority of the production stages are done by hand/manually. The impact is that MSMEs have many employees. In order for all activities in it to run well, a good Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is also needed. This community service activity aims to evaluate all SOPs. The community service team conducted a sharing session at the Banyu Sabrang batik workshop, namely in Dusun Kasihan II Sembungan Ngentakrejo, Lendah District, Kulon Progo Regency. The results of the community service concluded that the SOP for Banyu Sabrang Batik had been made well and had been applied to all existing employees without exception. However, additional SOPs and derivative SOPs are still needed to strengthen this business due to current condition and reality.
